Yesterday, I met with Manish (Founder of Rescued Glass) to donate 24 damaged glass bottles and to learn more about his work at Rescued Glass. Rescued Glass is a non-profit organization that upcycles used glass bottles into decorative pieces like drinking glasses, vases, and candles. Afterwards, they are sold by students at school events and any profit made is donated to support slum communities. Their other focus is on raising awareness in schools about responsible consumption and climate action. Ultimately, we are excited to continue working with Rescued Glass and see the final product from upcycling Sai Yok Springs bottles!
