On the 18th of October, Sai Yok Springs was invited to be a guest speaker at the Circular Economy Seminar and judge the business competition hosted by the International College at Dhurakij Pundit University. It was a great experience to share our business with students, we presented about the timeline of our company so far, challenges we have faced, sustainability and community actions. There was also some great questions from the audience about our energy source at the production facility, life cycle of our bottles, and plans for the future! Another highlight of the day was being able to share samples of our still and sparkling water with the audience where we received many compliments about the taste of our water.
In the afternoon, we were honored to judge the business competition and hear from different teams about their marketing, logistics, and budget plans for how they would increase awareness about plastic waste and how to put this into action. There were many interesting ideas shared like the usage of NFC technology and we wish all the teams well as they implement these plans over the next month!
